Selling Point: Re-Imagined by Patrick Wooten
New Premise :
Billions of humans once lived on the distant planet of Koma. They became lazy and wanted to create a new slave race of life like humanoids to do their bidding. Thus the ‘Noids’ were created.
As time passed, strange things started to happen. A mysterious disease began to develop which wiped out the entire human population on the planet. Before this event the noids were out of control, but still wanted to become more human.
Thus they wanted to venture to earth to bring humans to their home world. And even through they had been forbidden from doing this, they ended up doing it anyway regardless of the cost.

Re-Imagined Version:
An order was given to set out and embark for Earth to bring human beings back to Koma for repopulation of the planet. Their goal was for the noid’s to live an overall existence which was of a pure and honest human experience but they needed to encounter a legitimate human perspective.
In reality it was all just window dressing. Why? Well, because it’s a lie they tell themselves to get through the day, because deep down they don’t care. To look around smile and say, ‘everything’s ok,” but it’s not. It’s akin to a house burning down and a person is sitting on a chair inside feeling just fine about burning alive. All while not doing a damn thing to stop the fire.
There is also an open secret regarding the noid’s mere existence being responsible for what killed off the original human population of Koma. A byproduct of the noid’s existence itself. A type of pheromone essentially had a poisonous effect on human beings. The greater the number of the noid’s which surrounded the humans the more concentrated this toxin became.
This was not discovered until it was too late. Ketron, the leader of the noid’s ordered the abduction of hundreds of human beings for a trial run. After abducting a few hundred humans, and having success; they begin to take more people. Upon meeting with the humans, Ketron tells them a convincing enough lie:
“We’re in dire need of your help here. Our forefathers mysteriously died. They were our creators a well as our teachers. In all that we do they were trying to help us become more human. So here’s the thing, we were wondering if you good people of earth wouldn’t mind helping us out in our predicament,” said Ketron.
At first the humans who were abducted were pissed off. But then when the proposition was offered to them, they were promised the kind of life they never were able to live while on earth. One free of imperfection and without any pain or sorrow. Every single abductee fell in line with it. However once the shock collars, boring uniforms and limited freedom fell into place, they all realized they’d been duped.
Deep down these new humans felt sorry for the noid’s because they wanted to help them. If only they knew of the noid’s intentional and careless deception. Something had gone wrong within them. They’d become rotten to their cores like walking bad apples. A new evil existed within their society which was widespread. This evil inhabited every single one of these machines. Eventually more humans were brought, and they got sick and some died. They were made to wear shock collars, and do the entire song and dance which continued to rinse and repeat like a thoroughly diabolical madness.
This went on for years. A group would die out, and more would be brought from Earth. Humans had become all the rage, as if they were a fancy new toy everyone had to own. They were like a ‘drug’ to the noid’s because these wicked machines enjoyed watching humans do mundane things, and even stupid things. Not only did it make them feel alive, and real. But it was also entertainment for them. These things could sit back and laugh their harshest of laughs while watching a person billow over in pain.
But then one day, things changed. As the morning sun began to pierce the horizon, a tiny dot could be seen in the distance. At first glance it was far off from its destination. Step by step, it got closer to where it needed to be, this form came into focus. What came into being was a man.
This man doesn’t even realize it yet, but he was about to change and free this world. Another man was walking alongside him, and watching every step the first man took as if excited by it all. He can’t help but be curious during the walk, he almost doesn’t want to go where he’s meant to go next.
Even though he’s not currently where he wants to be and filled with fear because of where he is, in the back of his mind he had something driving him which he could not explain. ”I wonder what this world is all about,” Judd said as he stared ahead. The Salesman turned towards him, ”Now Judd, what have I told you, don’t go thinking you can change the world. I know that look in your eyes old boy, you better dial it back a bit. I’m trying to make a sale here, you better do as I say, no funny business. Got it?” Judd lowered his head, ”Okay Greco, whatever you say, it’s your party.”
Greco and Judd walk down the street and see no cars in any of the driveways except for one house at the dead end. ”Ah, there’s one, this will do,” Greco said as he was guiding Judd with a sense of ruthless force toward the house. Upon approaching the front door, nobody seemed to be answering the it at first. Judd looked as if he were getting a bit antsy and wanted to walk away. The entire time, Greco kept poking his head out from the tiny enclosure from within the bushes which surrounded the door. It’s almost like Greco was about to take part in a crime or something. He just had this nefarious vibe about him.
Judd kept looking into the side panel windows of the front door to see if anybody. He saw nothing. At the moment he turned back to see Greco watching the street and looking away as if he were watching for something; Judd heard the sound of a door unlocking. And then the knob turning. An uncomfortable winding sound proceeded. When Judd looked back to the door, he saw this beautiful young woman staring back at him. Her height met his lower chest area. She had long brown hair and hazel eyes. An hourglass figure. It’s almost like they had an instant connection.
He could see her lips moving but could not hear her speak. It’s like a grenade had went off in his head and it didn’t explode. What is love? Nah, he just met the girl. Well it was sure as hell something. Seconds later Greco notices the open door turns back towards, and shoves Judd out of the way practically forcing himself into the house before saying a word to the young woman who opened the door.
Greco walked around the lobby of the large home and into the kitchen. And then he walked back into the lobby where he finds the young woman has invited Judd to take a seat. When the salesman came back into the room he put his hands on his hips, ”I didn’t say you could sit down, get up boy, we got work to do. You’re on the clock kid!” Judd got up immediately. It wasn’t so much out of fear but he just wanted to shut Greco up, he was tired of his fucking mouth and more than anything wanted to honestly knock his lights out.
Greco looked around more, ”Well sweet thang, I noticed your owner is not home. Care to tell us where she went?” Judd walked a few steps toward Greco, ”her name is Emily Greco perhaps you should treat her like a person. You can see her name on the name tag she’s wearing.” The salesman then to pushed Judd in the chest as if he were about to fight him, ”back off kid, you don’t want none of this. I eat your kind for breakfast.” Judd backed off. ”So, Emily, when will your owner be back?” His tone of voice had convinced Emily that he wasn’t at all a good salesman. Not only was he disrespectful but he was vile.
HERE.
Emily walks out of the room and offers both Judd and Greco their appropriate drinks. Greco grabs his in a jerking motion spilling part of it on the floor. ”Clean up on aisle six,” Greco said with a chuckle as he made a mess. Emily sighed. Judd watched her walk into the other room to get something to clean up the now stained carpet.
When she returned she got down on the floor and began trying to scrub the new purple stain from the fancy rug. ”Ah you you might want to really dig in on that, if I’m right these carpets are really expensive and I don’t think your owner is going to be happy with you at all,” Greco added with a laugh. Judd stepped in, ”knock it off Greco.”
The salesman stood upright, ”or what Romeo? You gonna kick my ass? You couldn’t if you tried or even if you had an army at your back. I’m a noid, I’m a god, we don’t die! You on the other hand, friend, are puny, you’re a fucking human, and you’re fucking worthless. You’re both toys, brought here for our amusement, yeah, I’m gonna say it because so many other noids refuse to say it.
But there are those of us who just have no filter. Because we don’t give a shit. Now scrub that floor you fucking bitch.” Judd saw an endless rage awaken within Greco as he reached down and tried force Emily into scrubbing the floor in a different manner, ”no you idiot, like this!” And the salesman let out a burst of wicked laughter,” fucking idiot. Who the hell talked your owner into buying you?”
Judd kept grinding his fists, with each passing laugh. And each time Greco got back on the floor to force the young woman to clean the floor in a different manner. But the stains weren’t coming out. He kept tightening and grinding his fists until the bones in his knuckles popped. This happened over and over until Greco finally went and did it.
Emily wanted to get up because she was hurting from being down in the floor the way she was. She needed to rest for a bit. ”I’ll finish this up in a little bit, I need to rest my knees and then I will come back to it and do some more work,” she said with a wimper. The salesman proceeded to push Emily back into the floor after she had just stood up. Judd’s heart sank into the floor, especially when her eyes met his. He saw her genuine tears and moved forward into action.
Within moments Judd found himself overpowering Greco, ”what he hell is this shit? What are you doing? How are you doing that? You can’t do this, it’s impossible! You can’t beat me! I’m a fucking God you puny little shit!” The two seemed to struggle as they fell to the floor and wrestled about until they found themselves in front of the burning fire place. Judd seemed to be weakening, when Greco landed a few good hits to his face and midsection.
He then began to force the human’s head into the burning fireplace which burned part of his face. Judd let out a roaring yell! He kept breathing more aggressively in huffs and puffs, as his face was being guided back into the fire for another burn. It seemed almost impossible to fight back against the power of the noid. Judd’s eyes met Emily’s, he saw her weep. And out nowhere, it happened, again!
Judd felt something. It was an unknown strength. He felt almost superhuman. When he eyes drifted from Emily’s he felt something course through his body, an energy. ”What’s that? What are you doing? What the fuck are you doing? Stop doing that!” said the noid in a panic. The grip he had on the human man had loosened.
Now it was the noid who was in pain. Judd then had his way with him. Hitting him in every way he remembered, he enjoyed every bit of this. As blood dripped from his own nose and swollen eye being hit by the noid so much, Judd didn’t want to seem to let up. Every other hit he would glance back at Emily and the surge of energy increased until one point. Standing three feet from the fire the tables had turned. Judd’s hand was firmly gripped around Greco’s neck.
The salesman was in a panic, ”get the fuck off of me you fucking human. I’m a fucking God! You can’t, it’s impossible. How?!” Hell, Judd wasn’t 100% sure how, he just, ‘knew’. His eyes glanced at the floor to see Greco’s feet as he attempt to kick out towards Judd’s direction like a child. The fire called to Judd. Their eyes met. Judd gave Greco an unforgiving look, ”No, don’t do this, you can’t!” Without remorse the man placed the machine into the fire.
Judd pulled him out once more, because he wanted to destroy the noids face. He wanted Greco to see himself for what he really was. And when he did after looking into the giant mirror in the lobby, the salesman freaked out even more. As the man stepped towards him he kept saying, ”what are you doing? how are you doing this? Oh my not like this. Not like this!”
All in one motion the noid fell to the ground and was still. The man kicked him. There was nothing, no movement, just smoke rising from the machine and the sound of fizzling wires and parts as if something had seriously gone wrong inside. Emily walked over to the body and knelt down, ”well I guess I don’t have to worry about the wine stain for a while?”
”My dear, I don’t think you ever have to worry about working ever again. On this shitty little planet. Fuck Koma. I don’t know how yet, but we’re gonna get our asses back to Earth. I’ve had enough of this shit,” said Judd who had a plan. They waited for her owner to come home to find the body of Greco. They ended up doing same damn thing to that old wretch. She ended up saying similar things and collapsing in the same manner. But this time, Judd allowed Emily the honors of killing her owner. She enjoyed it a little too much.
It was then that the two new found lovers made pact, once they made this beautiful discovery. They were going to try to pose as noids somehow, and ‘buy’ as many humans as possible and form some sort of army to wipe out the noids from existence.
